Chop Chop Ninja (Tap Your Way To Victory)

Veering away from the usual, virtual D-pad interface, Chop
Chop Ninja simplifies things by allowing users to perform a
Variety of moves by merely tapping on the screen.
Tapping at the back of an enemy allows you to attack, while
tapping the top part of the display lets you jump, and so on and
so forth. As simple as the game-play is, it certainly doesn't lack
in terms of action. With along the way, Chop Chop Ninja will
put your tapping skills to the test.

Super Mario Galaxy 2

Mario games have always been a classic, and there
is probably no gamer alive who's unaware of this plumber's
existence. So what makes Super Mario Galaxy 2 any
different from its predecessors? Well, it employs the same
concept, along with the controls. In a nutshell, it's a lot like
Super Mario Galaxy, only better. Don't judge it just yet, for
this might be one of the most fantastic games ever released
in Wii. For the uninitiated, in this game Mario is tasked to jump
from galaxy to galaxy to collect stars. The star may be collected
in different ways such as by defeating a boss, solving a puzzle,
or simply locating it. There will be a Cosmic Guide that will let
you know the drills, but don't expect to get a Power Star in the
end as you'll only get a Bronze Star when you use the guide.
Saving Peach from Bowser had never looked and sounded this
good, with the game's refined visuals and orchestral soundtrack.
Upon playing, you'll feel that you truly are in Super Mario Galaxy,
but with more features that make the game fresh despite being a sequel.
The game is a complete package: responsive controls with new
challenges, new gameplay mechanics, and an almost flawless camera
movement-all of which are infuse with the classic Mario charm.

Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands

I've always felt that the recent Prince of Persia games suffered
from a severe lack of ambition always feeling like A-tier games
at a times but severely failing as overall packages. The Forgotten
Sands continues this dubious tradition, and completely squanders
its core differentiating factor the cool sand powers by not featuring
them enough and integrating them into the game's puzzles properly.
Fans of 2003's fantastic Sand of Time will be elated to see some
of the same elements and feel creep back into the series, but
Forgotten Sand is still a Ubisoft game at heart: crappy combat,
insulting easy puzzles and overt handholding make the Prince's latest
romp quite forgettable.

Sherlock Holmes VS. Jack the Ripper

With the advent of technology, we can now play the famed
detective himself and attempt to finally get a hold of fame
serial killer, Jack the Ripper, in London circa 1888.
Players will get to play Sherlock Holmes either in first-person
mode or as a point-and-click adventure. In first person mode,
Sherlock Holmes follows the chilling, real-life crimes of Jack the
Ripper that happened in the Whitechapel area by talking to people,
looking for clues and applying actions. There are side missions as
well, mostly from the people you talk to; do them a favor and they'll
get you the information you need. This game's strong point is definitely
its story. Graphics are reminiscent of the consoles of yesteryears,
which I found to be a waste. What was worse was the fact that Jack
the Ripper's murder victims looked very cartoony upon examination
which robs the entire mood of the game altogether.
I find that Sherlock Holmes Vs. Jack the Ripper can be really worth
it only if you're a huge fan of Holmes himself or the crime-solving
genre. Otherwise, save up for another game or better yet, purchase
this secondhand.

IRON MAN 2

How do we best simulate the life of millionaire bon vivant
Tony Stark? A 4X-type spreadsheet nerd-fest like Civ,
perhaps? maybe a stock trading sim much like Wall Street
Kid? Nope, Sega totally blew it and released this pile or
public consumption. It's probably the most forgettable
action game in existence - pretty much all you do is fly,
shoot things, and maybe throw around a tank or two. Name
a convention from any rote action game over the past couple
of years and this game has it: loadouts, upgrades, chapter-based
levels, and an overcomplicated control scheme. The only things
missing are a cover system and Nolan North.
The premise of having a game continues where the [incredibly
well done] movie left off was initially interesting. However,
Sega's incompetent U.S. team just had to poop on an otherwise-
interesting plot with such an unremarkable product.

SUPER STREET FIGHTER 4!

Capcom could have easily made more money by
renaming this game Street Fighter 5 and put a full price
tag on it. Instead, Capcom released it as a 1.5 version
of SF4 with a speacially marked-down price. But if you
are thinking that this is just a mere add-on, you are sorely
mistaken.
This rehash of the already spectacular SF 4 comes with all
35 fighters unlocked and ready for the picking. The roster
comes with eight new fighters from previous version of Steet
Fighter. Dudley, T. Hawk, Guy, Cody, Ibuki, Adon, Makoto
Dee Jay. There are two completely new fighters as well: Hakan,
a brutish Turkish oil wrestler, and Juri, a speedy Shadaloo agent.
With other notable and very welcome changes to the game, which
includes a complete rebalance of its fighters, updated cinematics
revamped online battle modes, and a new second selectable ultra
combo for each character, Super Street Fighter 4 is probably the
only fighting game you would ever need to ease that brawler's itch
you had since you got tired of SF 4.

Fable III PC Gamers, REJOICE!

Relief for our long-suffering PC gamers is in the
horizon, as two high-profile games will be made
available for Windows. EA finally made it clear
that the sequel to Dead Space 2 will be ported
over to the PC. Meanwhile the leaked box art for
Peter Molyneux's Fable III has an "Only for XBox
360 and Windows" note plastered proudly up front.

GET READY TO SCRIBBLE

While married with various gameplay glitches
and problems, it still can't be denied that the
concept and idea behind Scribblenauts was
quite unique and fantastic. The gameplay
concept is really out of this world that the
game truly deserve a second shot at commercial
success. Thankfully, Warner Brothers Interactive
thinks the same way and is giving us a
sequel titled Super Scribblenauts
which will be out later this year.
